Plant locally native plants that Gang-gang Cockatoos can eat from, such as sheoaks (casuarinas), eucalypts, and wattles. Or Revegetate with winter-flowering tree species where appropriate.

Reduce Collisions

Reduce collisions in areas where Swift Parrots are foraging by closing window blinds or letting windows get dirty. Alternatively hang wind chimes, mobiles etc in front of windows. Hang strips of fabric across wire mesh fences.

Drive Carefully

Be careful of low perched or low flying Gang-gangs when driving in areas with many trees, especially near hawthorns.
